Jordan and Laurens Paparazzi Style Detroit Engagement Session

Lauren is a dancer, runner, fitness goddess who is getting married to her work bestie/dog dad/best friend Jordan. These two have a timeless love where they truly care about one another and are in it for life making big plans and every day kinda slow love plans.

When Lauren told me she wanted engagement photos we were instantly on the same page for the vibe. Her fashion style is elegant, chic, timeless, classy and sexy at the same time. We chose to go for a walk around Detroit. We wanted Detroit’s unique architecture, motion of the motor city, and some bubbly to lead us for our session. We started at the Detroit Public Library with their dog Loui. There is plenty of grass around the building to walk around in and hangout while still being in the city so Loui could have his time to shine. The Architecture of the Library arched the beginning photos framing these two.

We then took our cars a bit further into the city. Parking at a parking garage and making our way to the top floor allowed us to get a view of the city. Lauren brought out a few more accessories including custom gloves with text saying "to love and to cherish” and “till death due us part”. Changing into their second look we walked around the city letting the moving cars and city paint a backdrop moving behind them while they stayed the focus of the evening. They are the main characters in this story.

After grabbing dinner downtown we made our way back to our cars in the dark. This created the perfect vibe for flash photography capturing them in a paparazzi style.
