Downtown Cincinnati Engagement | Kaytlynd + Brandon — Monnette Co Photo

Kaytlynd grew up in Illinois then made her way to Oklahoma which led her to a job in Detroit which led to her a soccer team. This sounds like a beginning of a novel, but this is literally her life.This chain of events, series of beautiful events, would lead her to her future husband.

Kaytlynd is an incredible soccer player and her team ended up in a tournament in a small town in Ohio. Brandon happened to be in the same town the night of the soccer tournament. After her game, Kaytlynd literally bumped into Brandon. She was hanging out with her friends when she walked BACKWARDS into him. Of all the guys hanging out in his group, she bumped into the right one. This is movie magic right here, and it’s their forever story.

That night Brandons friends were super cool and funny and called Kaytlnd Brandon’s wife - the whole night! Talk about foreshadowing, right?! Kaytlynd laughed and played it cool. But God knew that almost exactly 2 years later they would make that nickname official.

I am so excited that I met Kaytlynd during her time in Detroit, Michigan. When I saw that she was engaged I reached out to her and told her I had to photograph her wedding! I drove to Cincinnati - which is pretty close to where the two are living now for engagement pictures. Let me tell you - Cincinnati is super cute for engagement pictures! We started our morning across the bridge in Kentucky. Brandon picked out a spot that gave the perfect view of Cincinnati in the background.

After enjoying the view we got coffee and walked around downtown Cincinnati. We totally spilled coffee all over and the people at Espresso Collective were the best at helping us. We graciously thanked the baristas before we walked around town. Every alley and window was a perfect backdrop for these two. It was so fun seeing these two just love on each other. They are goofy and loving and the kindest people you will ever meet. I cannot wait until their wedding!
