Kim and Anthony Intimate Greenhouse Detroit Wedding

Kim and Anthony changed their plans and had an intimate wedding with their families. Anthony got ready with his brother in his apartment in downtown Detroit, just around the corner from The Shinola Hotel where Kim was getting ready. Kim did her own hair and makeup and was accompanied by her sister getting ready. The two wrote their own vows and transcribed them into their vow books that morning.

Once they were both dressed, Anthony came over to the hotel where the two of them would see one another for the first time on their wedding day. They took a few moments soaking it in that they were getting married that day and seeing how good one another looked.

We walked through the hotel and then around Woodward for some portraits before making our way over to the greenhouse for the ceremony. It worked out perfectly that it didn’t start raining until we were in the greenhouse for the ceremony. The two of them were surrounded by their family, with candles lit and the sound of gentle rain hitting the roof. The gathering was intimate but the emotions were big and beautiful.
